Welcome to School Road Dental Surgery

School Road Dental Surgery Front Door

We are a friendly, neighbourhood dental surgery with experienced dental staff that have been taking care of people in the Crookes suburbs of Sheffield for over 70 years.

Our surgery has very close ties with Sheffield and almost all of our dentists (and our practice owner) graduated right here at Sheffield University.

We have a variety of Patient Resources and if you are a New Patient you can download our intake form directly from this website so you can fill it out in the comfort of your own home.

Our Team of highly experienced dentists, dental therapists, hygienists and dental nurses are here to help you improve your oral health and give you the best experience possible on your dental visit.

We offer a full range of NHS dental services, as well as many private options at modest prices. Simply ask your dentist for a personal quote. You can see the full list of what we provide on our Services page

We pride ourselves on offering our patients a welcoming and comfortable environment. As a practice we have a keen interest in managing anxious patients effectively and enjoy meeting and treating extended family members, often over three generations.

Here at School Road we are incredibly proud of our loyal patient base and welcome new patients alike. We always strive for high standards of care and cross infection control at all times.

We are currently accepting new patients.

    • on a waiting list for NHS
    • private clinics available on waiting list

Dear Patient – We hope that you and your loved ones are safe and well.

We are currently operating a closed door policy and access is only granted by prior appointment .

You may be aware than dental practices have been advised to reopen on Monday 8th June. This will be undertaken in a phased return with the ultimate aim of supporting full resumption of routine dental care to be delivered in a safe and controlled manner.

Our plan over the next few weeks is to see our patients who have had problems and pain during the period of closure and also those patients who were mid treatment at the point of lockdown.

We will then be ready to reappoint for routine dental care. Over the coming weeks and months, we will be offering extended hours and increased sessions to enable us to deliver your routine care.

Appointment times have to be increased for every procedure due to enhanced cross infection control procedures and to maintain social distancing. There may be a slight delay in delivering routine care but we thank you for your understanding.

We would like to reassure you these measures are taken to ensure the absolute safety of both yourself and our team.

We look forward to seeing you soon

Yours sincerely

School Road DS Ltd
